Areas: Residential zones in several parts of Sarpsborg city centre; the permit is valid only in the zone for which it is issued
Validity: Weekdays 08:00–16:00. Outside these hours, and at weekends and on public holidays, parking is free for visitors in marked spaces.

Requirements
- Residents or businesses with an address inside the residential zone may apply. Each household may apply for up to two permits. A business permit applies to company vehicles; tradespeople and care workers may buy at the business rate.
How to apply: Apply in the Residential Zone Portal using ID-porten. The application must be approved and paid before the permit is valid; it is linked electronically to the registration number.

Motorhomes are charged for both electricity and the parking fee. Pay at a machine or with EasyPark (rate group 1182). The motorhome parking reopened on 1 May 2026. Other options: Tunevannet (free, public toilet nearby) and Sirkustomta (paid, without facilities).
