Sola parking: prices, long-term & Kiss & Fly
What does parking at Sola cost? The cheapest official long-term area is P1 0 Long-term Outdoor: 240 kr for the first 24 hrs and 820 kr for up to eight days, with about a 15-minute walk to the terminal. The P4 multi-storey is closer and costs from 425 kr per day, while Kiss & Fly is free for 7 minutes. Stavanger Airport Sola has automatic number-plate recognition in every area. Pre-booking has separate dynamic prices and terms.
Parking overview
APCOA runs Sola's parking areas for Avinor, with automatic number-plate recognition and cashless payment. P1 Short-term is covered (about 5 min walk); P2 Short-term is outdoors (about 8 min). P4 is a multi-storey car park, while P1 0, P7 and P8 are outdoor long-term areas. All areas have accessible spaces. Follow the signs for the right area.

Pick-up and drop-off
Kiss & Fly and the short-term areas P1/P2 give 7 minutes free from entry to exit, then 45 kr per started 20 minutes (135 kr/hour). Kiss & Fly is on the arrivals level right in front of the terminal. For pick-up at the helicopter terminal, Avinor directs you to P2.
EV charging
Avinor's current parking overview lists EV charging in P7, but not in P1, P2, P4, P8 or P1 0. Check signs and availability on arrival; pre-booking applies to ordinary parking and not necessarily a charging space.
Payment and surcharges
You can pay in APCOA FLOW, at a payment machine where available, or with Vipps. APCOA FLOW has a 15% service fee (minimum 4.90 kr). If you do not pay when leaving, Park & Go Web can be used within 48 hours for the rate + 49 kr, or Park & Go invoice for the rate + 59 kr and a 10 kr invoice fee.
How to choose parking at Sola
- Pre-book with Avinor when your dates are fixed: booking has its own prices and terms and reserves a space in the selected product.
- P1 0 is the cheapest published ordinary long-term rate, but it is about a 15-minute walk from the terminal.
- Use P2 when picking up at the helicopter terminal, as Avinor recommends.
- Check P7 charging availability on arrival – Avinor lists charging in this area.
Common pitfalls
Short-term is charged per started 20 minutes
The free window is only 7 minutes. After that, the rate is 45 kr per started 20 minutes, so do not wait in Kiss & Fly.
App payment has a service fee
APCOA FLOW adds a 15% service fee, at least 4.90 kr. Payment machines are available in several, but not all, areas.
The payment surcharges get you
The FLOW app adds 15% (min. 4.90 kr), web payment adds 49 kr and invoicing adds 59 kr + a 10 kr invoice fee. Check the terms when you pre-book.
Do not confuse P4 with charging parking
Avinor's current overview does not list charging in P4; it lists charging in P7. Follow signs and current instructions on site.
