Mandal has residential zones Sanden, Støkkan and Øvrebyen. Residents without parking on their own property can apply with a residence certificate and vehicle registration document. The agreement covers one registered vehicle at a time and allows use of an available on-street space within the applicant's own zone, but not spaces with a machine or parking meter. The zones apply weekdays 08:00–17:00 and Saturdays 08:00–15:00.
