Kjevik parking: prices, long-term & 10 minutes free
What does parking at Kjevik cost? The cheapest long-term area is P5: 189 kr for the first 24 hrs and 599 kr for up to eight days. P3 has charging and costs 279 kr per day, while the P1 garage closest to the terminal costs 385 kr per day. Driving through for drop-off and pick-up is free for up to 10 minutes. Kristiansand Airport Kjevik has ticketless parking run by OnePark for Avinor with automatic number-plate recognition. Pre-booking has separate prices and terms.

The lots are run by OnePark for Avinor (Autopay), ticketless with camera recognition. P1 is the garage closest to the terminal, P2 is near parking, P3 is long-term parking with the most charging spaces, and P5 is the cheapest option. Access on foot – no shuttle bus.

Private parking options
Kjevik is served by the airport's own parking areas via OnePark. After roadside parking along Kjevikveien became a problem, the airport cut its prices in January 2025 – P5 is now the budget choice. Booking ahead on avinor.no gives the lowest price.
Pick-up and drop-off
Free drive-through for up to 10 minutes for dropping off and picking up – exit within that time and you are not charged. If you pay afterwards without the app or machine, invoicing costs a 59 kr fee plus a 10 kr invoice fee – and Autopay even charges 10 kr just to send a receipt by e-mail (use the app, where it is free).
EV charging
There is AC charging at P1 (about 10 spaces), P3 (about 32 spaces) and a few spaces in P2 – same parking price as a normal car, but the car must be actively charging and be moved when finished. In addition, Mer opened fast charging (DC) in autumn 2024 outside the payment zone, open to everyone.
How to choose parking at Kjevik
- Long-term: P5 is clearly cheapest (189 kr per 24 hrs, 599 kr/week). P3 is the compromise with charging and a shorter walk.
- Charging: P3 has about 32 charging spaces (P1 about 10), at the normal parking price. Need fast charging? The Mer chargers sit outside the payment zone.
- Do not park along Kjevikveien to save money – prices on the official lots were cut precisely to make P5 the real budget choice.
- Disabled parking near the entrance: P1 has 5 spaces right by the terminal entrance (P2 has 6).
Common pitfalls
P2 is expensive over time
P2 looks reasonable per day (359 kr), but the weekly price is 1,995 kr – more than the P1 garage (1,199 kr). Staying a week? P1, P3 or P5 are better choices.
The fees for paying afterwards
Invoicing costs 59 kr plus a 10 kr invoice fee, and an e-mail receipt from Autopay costs 10 kr (the Norwegian Consumer Council called the fee unreasonable, but it remains). Pay in the app – there the receipt is free.
Charging spaces require active charging
The charging spaces are for cars actually charging. If the car sits fully charged or without a cable, it may have to be moved.
The 10-minute limit
Free drive-through only covers quick stops. Beyond 10 minutes, the ordinary rate runs from the time of entry.
